2001 - LC cancelled by company because of 911. If company responded to RFE, Labor could have been certified.
2006 - Laid off while on 9th yr of H1

Plassey, regarding your thoughts and comments let me tell you something "GC is not the best thing in the world, for which one has to be so depressed and cry in bathroom". During my Infopass appointment, Lady Officer told me that your approved advanced parole is mailed to your home address and she verified my home address with me as well. Now my AP was approved on Oct 1*. I had a Infopass on 6th Nov. According to officer AP was "mailed" on the same day as "approval". That was not sufficient, so to add that, I got an email from lawyer yesterday mentioning the receipt of our all approved APs at his office.
So conclusion: Do not trust USCIS officer whatever they say during Infopass.

Hi All FP seekers! I do not know what exactly I am missing if there is a delay in FP. It looks like hundreds of IV members are too much worried because of the 'delay' in FP. Let me worry too (by knowing the big problem!). Can any worriers explain??
On the other hand is it not better to have a late FP, so that you need not go again in the next 15 months! Anyway for most people GC is going to take years!

The fact is republicans don’t like non whites to immigrate to US and the democrats are color blind to most extent but they are class conscious, they like illegals and poor people to immigrate to US because they can control them whereas they cannot control and herd the EB immigrants.

We will all have to fight for our cause but don’t have unrealistic expectations from CIR. Our best bet is a non cir piece meal bill visa recapture bill that addresses EB issues seperate from CIR, it is difficult to get such a bill passed but the chances for such a bill are better then Obama-durbin cir

My biggest fear is "choking up of the already inefficient system"...currently we at least can apply for something and expect it to be processed in few months (longer in some cases), get our EADs and APs renewed, call customer service with questions (although don't get needed info in most cases), get infopass....when they try to deal with "blue cards" and Z visas of 12 million plus illegals, none of this will be available.
And I do not want to start GC process from "scratch" in point bases system when I have spent so much time, money and energy in the current process...
Only and only Ron Gotcher can say "once CIR passes, everything will be current and stay current..." DREAM COME TRUE!

Thanks for the good work. However, I saw a major potential flaw in estimating the applications from ROW. The report finds the life cycle for a ROWer to submit 485 is 1 year, thus assuming little AOS applications will be filed in the coming year from ROW. But this analysis forgot to consider those ROWers who started GC in year 2008. A person who started working in 11/2008 is ready to submit 485 now and uses one quota, even if a person who just started working won't be able to submit AOS till a year from now. With this under consideration, I feel the spillover will be much less than initially estimated.

Thanks Sanbaj. Do you have both applications under same sponsor? Or different sponsor? My case is: both different sponsor and on top of that now I am working for third company using AC21 -EAD. Can any complications arise?
My case was simple. Same Sponsor. Same Category EB2. You case is complex as three different companies are involved. In my understanding, which is very limited, both the approved I140s are yours to use. Whichever sponsor's I140 is applied to your AOS is that sponsor you should joing after AOS is approved. But, AC21 in your case makes it even more complex. You better get a very (interfiling) experienced lawyer to help you out in your case for just to be on the safe side. There is no point taking so much risk at this stage of this prolonged and painfull process.

Yes I agree, our history and way of working is also different maybe better/worse, but defenitely way more experience! I don't think I would want to change any thing about family , friend relations and the way we help each other. Even some of the ways we think, has a lot of advantages.

being open minded and having freedom of expression is good up to a certain point!
There is freedom and education even in India, I agree infrastructure needs improvement.
India is 3rd in the world if you account for purchasing power parity. Don't trash India so soon. have you looked at how people lived in the US 40-50 years back? While I agree Indian IT should do more quality work and treat employees fairly. He no longer works with Infy, he just made generic comments.
There is no freedom and especially education in India. in US even if you are a 60 year old you can join a university but in India things are different. Freedom, what kind of freedom you are talking about. with the political idiots creating havocs for high thinking people. Hey come to reality do not dream

There are not many bubbles left to create, and the debt was never this high.
Recovery is bloked mainly do to Politics understand that first.
The growth of India should be more compared to Canada, that has a conservative financial system with lot of regulation. AKA no vegas.
Again never compare Canada with India, India is Unique and I am not putting my Motherland on Trash, You are in a way doing that, by comparing it with Canada and USA.
STOP religious Conversion and propoganda all over the world all the countries will live happily.

I think some of the people on this forum should be diagnosed for click’O’mania. Basically what it means is developing impatience and restlessness qualities as a result of using computer and mouse over an extended period of time. It makes a patient believe that results should be expected within few minutes after initiating any activity just like the click of a mouse does. Examples are on-line credit card payments, rental payments, electricity, telephone, cell phone, cable bill payments, money transfers to name a few. Over period of time when the patient gets used to these habits, he tries to extend the same logic to other walks of life. Expect results within few minutes. What the click’O’maniac does not understand is certain things in life requires some amount of time in terms of weeks and patience to complete. Even though he/she knows that USCIS is going to receive about � million applications by Aug 17th and receipting of 485 applications is going to take long time, he/she can not resist pressing F5 button on bank statement URL, USCIS press room URL, immigration voice URL, on line case status URL, email account URL and what not URLs. So, someone is trying to contact CSR every day about the receipt status, verifying if checks are cashed or checking LUD on previously approved certifications on hourly basis, it is not his or her fault. Culprit is this undiagnosed disease. If untreated, he/she may be desperate for the finger print notice date in near future. After the finger print notice date, it may be FP notice acceptance date or LUD on case status.
If treated, he realizes that how deep he went into this GC well and how far is away from life on earth and thanks his stars for not remaining as a frog in a well.
