Has your I-485 been approved or you have got an RFE?
Well I got RFE then within a week got Card Production ordered email then within 12 hrs got mail undelivered email..
I have not replied to RFE yet.

Received CPO mail today for self, wife but then after 30 mins the status changed to 'deceison' .
Does this mean I am greened?

Yes, you are. The decision status happens when your wlecome notice gets mailed out. You will get that either today and within next couple of days. Mine also got changed like that, but only after 6 days.
Interesting part is even after I got my GREEN CARD to my hand, it is still saying the status as DECISION.

My idea for presenting my views on NAME CHECK and PROGRAMMING problem is to REACH TO TRUTH as Mahatma Gandhi always preferred. I may be wrong also. Your views and comments would help improve this debate.
If my suspicion is true, then this (programming blunder) would be a CODE BREAKER. I got this idea bacuse of my background in genomics and bioinformatics. For example, if a gene sequence is not done well and there are some errors, gene database may erroneously show wrong HITS. This is the reason why gene sequencing is done throughly and accurately to avoid wrong interpretation. For example, simple error could mean nothing or a million dollar discovery.
If phoenetic program is appied to Davids and Johns, there would be countless hits. While they do not permit spelling error in your name during adjudication then why do they want to play with different spellings of your name??

Can someone explain why it seems harder to find backers in the house than in the senate for immigration reform (even the employment based legal immigration)? If we understand this, maybe it will help us focus our lobbying efforts better. Just a thought.

I think this is very well said. As much as I'd want the predictions to come true, somehow I sense the same observation as below. It appears this has been said in the past, but all we see is very little movement. Secondly, as I recall, DOS had hinted that there'll be advance for EB2 India, I don't know if they mentioned EB2 China? Has anyone seen DOS themselves talking about EB2 C? The reason I am raising this here, is that maybe when DOS had said "substantial movement for EB2 India", did they mean that India will move to China's date (From May to Jul 06, 3 months movement)?

Finally, we got the approval emails for self & wife.
I had got an email from TSC.Ncscfollowup@dhs.gov last friday (09/17/2010) with the update below-
1: The review was complete
2: Visa numbers were requested 2 months ago and all security/prints are current
3: Files have been forwarded to officers for completion.
In my case the email to SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov helped a lot. They in turn sent an email to TSC.Ncscfollowup@dhs.gov to step up the processing.
As others have mentioned IV has played a big part throughout this journey. Thank you again.

I am still trying to talk the old employer. I am losing hope in it.
There is no harm in trying the new application in parallel. Assuming your employer is paying for it/you can afford the extra fees. Time is critical as CIR might mess things up if you delay too much.

How is response to MTRs sofar. Are they encouraging? What happens if MTR not approved what are the options?
I read on Mutrhy and RG's website that their initial MTR are successful and CIS has re-initiated 485s. This makes sense as the revocation of 485 in above cases were against the policy and possibly just an error. Its a different thing that it can create a havoc in candidates life, particulary if the candidate doesn't have H1 to back and if he is working on EAD. What a joke!!!

USCIS can have lots of money for H1 renewals. Only the body shoppers and end clients will benefit. Are you supporting more body shopping?
L1 dumping is VIOLATION. They can not work at client's place. When there is a competition, it should be on fair terms. If your pay is XXX K, other H1 or US Citizen/GC holder will compete with you for that salary plus minus 5-10 %. But these OUTSOURCE company's that dump L1 are competing for that job with 30-40 K. Can you guys believe this? Ask that guy from that BIG outsouce company, he will tell you, he is on H1. Take him for a drink, he will cry infront of you that he is paid peanuts and is on L1. He took this job as he wants to come to US and that his spouse can work. So he can afford to work for that peanut. Can H1 holder compete with these guys where our spouses can not work? Even Citizens and GC's can not compete due to cost of living being higher.
If you are on H1, at least you can not cheat on W2. But in L1, there is no minimum wage rule.

My 485 was filled in June 2004 and I got married in Dec 2004. NOw I need to file I-485 for my wife. I have couple of questions.Any help is welcome.
1. Can I file her I-485 without medical/Immunization?
2. What will happen if my GC is approved before we can file her papers?
3. What are my options if the 2nd come true?

We should do 3 things for HR 5882 before end of this session.
(1) Call Full Committee and Local Lawmakers.
(2) Send Emails
(3) Send Letter And/Or Posters
These tasks are in priority order becasue we have short time and later one can take more time. So lets call which is real time. Emails are may be 1-2 days delay . And Letter and posters are 7-10 days delay.
Please call ASAP.
