I had the same problem last year. I gave up..
I opened Service requests and was told will get a new EAD for 2 years 3 different times and was told to wait for 45 days each time!!!
Finally it was time to apply for a new EAD and I hope to get one for 2 years this time around!

If I were you I would just get a new exam done and submit it. Also, you should explain that you DID submit it in the first place and send the sealed envelope again. What do you have to lose if you send 2 medicals? Hanging on to the sealed one you have does not gain anything.
About envelope being huge? Well, no regulation says that you cannot send any envelope greater than 11x17. That would be just plain stupid if they rejected because of envelope size, and I seriously doubt they would do that. Thinking about it, it would be funny to see someone chest xray pop out of an 11x17 envelope :)

hi everyone
I m an MBA(major:general mba)student in a university in texas. I have an bachelors of engineeing (electrical & electronics)from india. I have found an desi employer who is ready to train me in SAP (FICO)functional and than place me on projects to diffeent companies. Since i m graduating in august 2008 ,At first i have to work for him on OPT and than in apil 2009 my employer will sponcer my h1 visa.
Now my question is....
1) can i work in SAP FICO functional , when i m on my opt?(opt means i have to work in a job directly related to my major field of study and i guess SAP is not related to my field major field of study)
2)will i have problems getting a h1b visa? (since General MBA and SAP are completely different fields )
Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated.

Should the job title for PERM labor filing be in Job Zone 5 to qualify under EB2 category? Or could one apply in Job Zone 4 and still qualify for a EB2? Also, does having an MBA, exempt a person from EB quota under any of the proposed bills like STEM, SKIL, PACE, TALENT or should it have to be an MS in Engineering.
A quick response would be greatly appreciated.
Not sure about the first question. SKIL bill will exempt any advanced degree from US or Advanced degree in STEM from outside + 3 Years. PACE, TALENT and the current CIR only exempt STEM Advanced degree + 3 Yrs

Mar-18 I got a mail "Case Transfered to Another Office for Processing" To NSC
Mar 19 -soft LUD
Mar 21 around 1 pm got a mail "This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.
Again Today around 7-15PM I got the Approval Mail..
I-140 & I-485 Concurrently mailed on July 2 nd 2007 TO NSC
Got the Receipt on Aug 22 from CSC.
Till now No FP because of NC pending...found today by Infopass Appointment..

Same boat. My brother's marriage is in the last week of August and I have to travel to India.
When I go to India, I will need to get H1b stamping on extension - will that be an issue?
If I apply for 485 now, and they send biometrics notices when I am in India (will be there for a week in last week of August) , will it be an issue? Though it is a long shot?
Changing address - I will be moving into a new apartment soon (in 3 months) - so effectively after applying 485, I will be moving to a new apartment - how will I handle address change?
Can anyone help me with these answers :)

I wish there was a way to know if a case is pre-adjudicated.
This would help us to not file for H1 extensions, EAD, and AP. Which inturn would free up time for the officers to work on improving processing dates.
Offcourse, i am still happy about the date movement.
It just makes you wonder , if they USCIS was deligent in not wasting visas in previous years, even EB-3 would have had a reasonable date.
